- Representatives of the Romanian Federation of Diabetes Persons' Associations were invited to the 40th Congress of the Romanian Society of Diabetes, Nutrition and Metabolic Diseases. One of the main moments of the congress was the presentation of the results of the Predatorr study regarding the prevalence of diabetes in the adult population of Romania. The measured prevalence is of more than 11%

- The Forum of the persons with diabetes was organized in Timisoara between 3 and 6 of April 2014.

- The first selection session for the team that will represent Romania at DiaEuro 2014 was held in Timisoara (November, 2013)

- FADR was invited to the 2013 Congress of the Romanian Federation of Diabetes (6-9 November, Iasi) and it had a parallel session for the member organizations.

- The Romanian team of football representing FADR and the Romanian Federation of Diabetes participated to the DiaEuro2013 championship. The team finished on the sixth place. [31 August, 2013]

- FADR submitted a project proposal to the SEE NGO fund. The project will involve all the member organizations as well as new or unregistered ones in developing and providing new core services for the persons with diabetes. [July, 2013]

- The Romanian Ministry of Health announced the first official results of the National Programme for Assessing the Status of Health 2007-2008. Diabetes was indicated as one of the major risks (about 12% of the participants were identified as being at risk for developing diabetes). [10 May, 2013]

​- The SEE fund will announce the terms of the project competition on April 18. The first request for applications was issued on 20 of April.

- The registration for the applicants to the Youth Leaders in Diabetes training session, sponsored by IDF during the IDF Congress in Melbourne, is open. Closing date April 1.

- The Romanian football team is registered for the DiaEuro 2013 championship. The selection procedure, the training sessions and any additional activities will be discussed during the Forum.

- The Romanian Forum of Persons with Diabetes will take place in Turda, on March 22-24. The forum will include free tests of glycamia and haemoglobin A1C

- The selection process for the applicants for the IDF Europe summer camp is open.
