Free testing for hepatitis C

50,000 Hep C tests were made available by a campaign started by the Allinace of Chronic Patients. FADR participated in the campaign. With daily testing and regular check up's, the persons with diabetes may be exposed to hepatitis and this is why we encouraged our members to participate. In only one location 20 new cases were found! The campaign ran in all the major cities of the country during March 2013.

Take control of your diabetes

It basically has two sessions: one in summer and one closer to the World Diabetes Day. Between 14 and 16 of November 2013 the campaign was in Cluj Napoca and included seminars for professionals and public testing of glicaemia. You may see the agenda of the event here.

For 2014 there are events scheduled in Galati (28-29 March) and Bucharest (12-15 November).
